Game Recap

7th seed Tosa West fought hard in this Regional Championship game but eventually fell to 2nd seed Menominee Falls by the score of 7-8 at Menominee Falls home field. Both schools had a large fan turnout in this exciting game that had TW capturing the lead in the 6th inning only to give it away in the bottom of the 6th losing by the score of 5-8 at that time.
TW scored 2 more in the 7th and had runners at 1st and 3rd with one out but was unable to push another run across.
TW out hit MF 9-8. Melissa Biefeld, McKenzie Brophey, Margaret Radske and Kaitlyn Nimmer had two hits each, while Olivia Greener got a solo hit via the bunt.

The future looks bright for the TW Softball team who will move to the Greater Metro Conference next season.
