Sectional #6 – Monday, May 20, 2019
LOCATION: Brookfield Central High School, 16900 W. Gebhardt Road
TEAMS: Arrowhead, Brookfield Central, Brookfield East, Hamilton, Menomonee Falls, Oconomowoc, Pewaukee, Wauwatosa West
TIME SCHEDULE: Coaches Meeting: 3:15 pm near the finish line
Implement Weigh-in: 2:45-3:15 North Side of East Bleachers
Field Events: 3:45 pm
Running Events: 4:30 pm

JURY OF APPEALS: Meet Manager – Don Kurth (BCHS AD), Hamilton Girls Coach – Ben Nysse,
Arrowhead Boys Coach – Chris Herriot, and the two starters (Jay Preston & Mark Pagach)
ENTRIES: All entries will be done online through www.pttiming.com. Detailed instructions for submitting entries are posted on the School Center. The entry deadline is: Friday, May 17, 8:00am.
A School may enter a maximum of:
- One Entry in each relay event
- 28 Individual event entries
- There is a maximum limit of three in any individual event.
- An athlete may enter a maximum of 4 events, but in no more than three running or three field events. Being listed as a substitute on a relay team(s) counts as an event.
ADVANCEMENT: In running events, heat winners and next fastest times will fill lanes for finals.
SPIKES: Spikes may be worn on all runways, approach areas, and the track itself. The tip of the spike should extend no more than 1/4 of an inch from the sole of the shoe. Chalk will be provided for exchange zones on the track. Please do not use tape!
SCORING: There will be 8 places scored for all events (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1)
SHOT PUT/DISCUS: 3 throws in trials – 9 athletes to finals – 3 throws in reverse order, Shot Put Girl’s First and Discus – Boy’s First.
POLE VAULT: Boys will compete first. Coaches, DO NOT fax vault weight sheets in to school. Bring a copy to the event. We will use 5 alive format. Opening height – 2 increments below 8th seed.
LONG/TRIPLE JUMP: Boys First in Triple Jump – Girls First in Long Jump.
*Prelims will be 3 jumps conducted in an open pit format for 1 hour.
Top 9 athletes to finals – 3 jumps in finals in reverse order. *10 minutes between prelims & finals.
HIGH JUMP: Girls will jump on East (Grey) Pit. Boys will jump on West (Blue) Pit. 5 alive format, opening height 2 increments below 8th seed.
AWARDS: Championship plaque for team winner.
TEAM AREAS: Please set up camps either in the stands or anywhere outside of the fenced in track.
RESTRICTED AREAS: The infield will be restricted to everyone except officials, workers, and meet management with the following exception. Coaches will be allowed in the high jump and pole vault areas during their respective events. We ask that you keep your athletes off of the infield at all times and inform parents that they should not be inside the fenced area of the track.
CONCESSIONS: Concessions will be available.
ADMISSION FEE: Adults and Students/Seniors: $5.00 NO PASSES
EXCHANGE ZONES: Please have a coach at these zones to help officiate exchanges.
800 Relay: 1st/3rd Exchange – Arrowhead Lanes 1-4 & Pewaukee Lanes 5-8
400 Relay: 1st Exchange – Oconomowoc/Wauwatosa West, 2nd Exchange – BCHS & BEHS
3rd Exchange – Menomonee Falls/Hamilton
