6 Wrestlers earn Academic All-State Honors

Congratulations to the six wrestlers who earned 2019-2020 Wisconsin Wrestling Academic All-State Honors.  They are Ben Acker, Jaden Anderson, Simon Doyle, Logan Ertl, Kendrick Pate, and Nikita Adamov.  Nice job of not only succeeding on the mat but more importantly in the classroom!

Wrestlers Qualify 4 to the State Tournament!

Congratulations to the Tosa Wrestling Team that qualified four wrestlers to the WIAA State Wrestling Tournament.  Earning trips to State were Christian Beyer, Ben Acker, Simon Doyle, and Shaquielle Harrell.  All four pulled off gutsy victories in their wrestle-back matches at Sectionals.  they have had impressive years and enter the tournament with strong season records: 

Athlete of the Week #17 – C. Beyer

Week #17 CHRISTIAN BEYER Wrestling On Saturday, February 15th, Junior Christian Beyer won a regional championship.  He did it in fine fashion with a pin in the semi-finals and a 14-4 major decision in the finals.  He improved his season record to 32-11 with a team leading 22 pins. Congratulations Christian!

Congratulations to the Tosa wrestling team who won their own Tom Janssen Invitational on Saturday.  The day started with wins over Manitowoc Lincoln 60-24, Wisconsin Lutheran, 39-31, Badger 48-31, and Watertown 48-30.  Then came the championship dual against Portage who is currently ranked honorable mention in D-2.  We fell behind 31-30 with two matches to

Week #12 OLIVER CRUM Wrestling On January 9th during our Sussex Hamilton Dual Meet, Sophomore Oliver Crum started us off the right direction with a first period pin in the first match of the night.  Then on Saturday, Oliver took 2nd place at the Belcher Invite, going 4-1 on the day with three pins.  Congratulations Oliver!
